GOODRICH, MI (WNEM) -

A candlelight vigil is planned for Thursday evening in support a Mid-Michigan student who was seriously hurt in a crash.

Goodrich Superintendent Michelle Imbrunone said that last weekend an incoming senior at Goodrich High School was hurt in crash.

Imbrunone said that while the un-identified student has made significant progress in his recovery over the last couple of days, he remains hospitalized and will have a lengthy recovery ahead.

The candlelight vigil is being held at 11:15 p.m. at the Roy U. Stacey athletic complex.

Everyone is welcome to attend and join in support of the student and his family.
