SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Old Town Saginaw is going to be a party town.

Organizers are bringing in music, artists, food and plenty of spirits.

"Come on down and have a taste of Saginaw," said Tom Schwannecke, Bash promoter.

A big bash is scheduled for Old Town Saginaw. Schwannecke said the bash festival will soon make the streets come alive with beats, arts, spirits and humanities.

"The size of the footprint is unique in the sense that we have three band stages with different genres. We are incorporating the art and the kids zone all at once," he said.

Schwannecke said the event will feature local cuisine and drinks from local shops like Jake's, Yaya's Chicken and Tony's. There will be local artists and a zip line.

He said you can expect the best music in town.

"The Micferland Band, which hasn't been assembled in 20 years. The whole original cast, as well as Jedi Mind Trip, a local favorite. And the Larry McCray Band," Schwannecke said.

Tickets to the bash are just $5. The action starts at 5 p.m. Friday.

The three day event will be held in the Hamilton Street corridor.
