SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Not even a vehicle slamming into the building will keep a local township office from opening its doors.

Buena Vista Township Police report that on August 11 at 8:17 p.m. a 67-year-old Buena Vista Township man was driving along Outer Drive when he experienced a medical emergency.

That caused him to lose control of his car and slam into the township office building, hitting next to the main entrance.

The man was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unclear.

The township office did open for business on August 12.
