6th tornado of year touches down in U.P.

MENOMINEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A sixth tornado touched down in the Upper Peninsula on Thursday.

The twister made contact just north of Hermansville, in Menominee County, at around 5:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service will conduct an official survey next week to determine the storm’s strength.

The National Weather Service in Marquette re-posted the following video from Chelsea Blahnik of the storm.
