CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -

Three men have been arrested after store patrons in the Upper Peninsula's Chocolay Township were robbed.

The Mining Journal of Marquette reports that two men armed with a knife and baseball bat held up two customers about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday at Kassel's Korner.

Police arrested a 22-year-old and two 18-year-olds from Delta County after pulling over a vehicle on U.S. 41. Cash was recovered.

Earlier Tuesday morning, two men tried to rob an inn in Harvey, but ran away when a clerk pointed a handgun at them. Authorities say the clerk is licensed to carry a concealed pistol.

Authorities are investigating whether the men are responsible for a holdup at a hotel in Escanaba.
