WILLISTON, ND (AP) -

An Arizona woman accused of causing a crash in the western North Dakota oil patch that killed three men has been ordered to serve 100 days in jail.

Authorities say 21-year-old Kayla Ciha, of Tucson, caused a July 2015 crash on a McKenzie County road while trying to pass in a no-passing zone. The crash killed men from North Dakota, Michigan and Idaho. Ciha wasn't hurt.

Ciha faced three felony counts of negligent homicide and a misdemeanor charge of aggravated reckless driving.

State District Judge Robin Schmidt in March rejected a plea deal that called for Ciha to spend only one day in jail.

Ciha pleaded guilty late last week without a plea deal and was sentenced.
