Report: AG’s office got water complaints a year before probe

Posted: Updated:

A record of complaints shows that Attorney General Bill Schuette's office may have known about the Flint water crisis a year before the criminal investigation was announced.

According to The Detroit News, Schuette's office received at least 15 complaints spanning back to April of 2014.

The office responded saying thousands of complaints come through the office every year, many times not seen by the attorney general, but are instead passed on the appropriate department.
