She's accused of shooting and killing two women in Mid-Michigan.

Jacquelyne Tyson is charged with the July 26 murder of two employees at Grand Oaks Apartments in Grand Blanc.

The Grand Blanc Police Department and the Genesee County prosecutor have completed their investigation inside Tyson's apartment. One of Tyson's family members allowed TV5 inside the apartment, with police approval.

They said it may hold dark secrets of Tyson's mental state.

"I know Jackie. I've known Jackie since childhood and I believe what she did, something triggered her to do it and I honestly believe that she, she snapped," said Larry Fields, Tyson's cousin.

Fields showed TV5 Tyson's apartment to try to paint a picture of her and the troubles he thinks she faced. Throughout her apartment are notes, many appear to be gibberish while others are bible verses asking for forgiveness.

"There's no doubt she committed it. But the thing is, why? What was she driven by to do it," Fields said.

Police said she shot and killed 45-year-old Tamara Johnson and 20-year-old Lyric Work. Work was pregnant and the baby was delivered by an emergency c-section and is recovering.

"I want that family to know my heart goes out to them," Fields said.

Fields believes based on what he found, he said it's undeniable she had some serious issues and hopes she gets a fair trial.

"I want the truth to come out. If she's incompetent, I want that to come out. If she is competent to stand trial, then I want her to stand trial. But judging what I've seen and heard, she's not competent to stand trial," Fields said.
