FENTON, MI (WNEM) -

A 4-month-old and a 2-year-old child were taken to the hospital after they were left in a hot car Thursday.

The Fenton Police arrived to Georgetown Manor in Fenton about 4:30 p.m. for a call of two small children left in a hot car.

The children were left in the car for about 30 minutes, police said.

They were taken to Hurley for assessment. The 2-year-old was released from the hospital on Thursday, but the 4-month-old is still being evaluated by doctors, police said.

Investigators said it was an accident.
