A Michigan beer lover’s delight.

An old favorite comes back to the state, with a brand new look.

“Brew Detroit” is once again making Stroh’s famous pilsner beer in Detroit under an agreement with Pabst Brewing Company.

The drink returns to store shelves and bars today, along with the lager still being brewed in Ohio.

Stroh’s beer dates back to the Mid-1800’s when the pilsner recipe was brought to Detroit from Germany, however the newly revamped product offers a taste and look that brewers hope will resonate better with craft beer drinkers.

Stroh’s stopped brewing when the Pabst and Miller Brewing companies bought out the brand in 1999.
