Wednesday is freshman moving-in day at SVSU

KOCHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Summer break is officially over for college students descend on campuses across the state.

Wednesday, August 24th is move in day for freshman at Saginaw Valley State University.

Officials at SVSU say that more than 70-percent of the incoming freshman have chosen to live on campus.

They say SVSU President Don Bachand is expected to assist students moving in Wednesday morning, continuing a tradition of past presidents.

The rest of the more than 2,400 students who plan to live on campus will move in on Thursday.
