FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

The professor who helped expose the Flint water crisis wakes up in the Vehicle City Friday after a long night of lead testing.

Lead levels fell to the federal government's acceptable level in July.

Now, Marc Edwards wants to confirm if that's true.

The Virginia Tech professor just spent the night at the same home where he found lead in Flint's water last year.

Edwards said he was going to wake up every hour to test the tap water again.

We'll keep you posted on what he finds.
