TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police say a woman had to be flown to the hospital after a traffic crash in Tuscola County Tuesday night.

Troopers say at 2:15 p.m., two vehicles crashed head-on at the intersection of Bay City-Forestville Road and Richie Road in Elkland Township. A blue Yukon driven by a 47-year-old Sebawaing woman was attempting to turn left onto Richie Rd. and turned into the path of a blue Oldsmobile Bravada driven by a 37-year-old Gagetown woman.

The driver of the Yukon was pinned in her vehicle but had only minor injuries. The driver of the Bravada was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw by Flight Care. Her current condition is not yet known.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt and were the only people in their respective vehicles.
