Meeting held to help foster families amid water crisis

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Child welfare agencies are working to help foster parents deal with the economic repercussions of the Flint water crisis.

Two meetings are being held as a continued effort to relieve parents of financial burdens due to the lead tainted water.

Tonight's meeting is at St. Michael Catholic Church from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Topics will include community resource centers and new foster parent support services.
