Fire department gets money from feds

MT. MORRIS, MI (WNEM) -

More than $50,000 is heading to a Mid-Michigan fire department.

The City of Mt. Morris Fire Department will receive $51,363 for fire prevention projects from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Fire Prevention & Safety program.

Fire Prevention & Safety program is part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
