Central dispatch: Train strikes vehicle in Flushing

FLUSHING, MI (WNEM) -

Police responded to a train accident Friday afternoon.

It happened about 5 p.m. on N. Seymour Road and W. Main Street in Flushing.

The conductor of the train called 911 and said they hit a vehicle that pulled out in front of the train, according to Genesee County Central Dispatch.

There was a male and female in the vehicle. The extent of their injuries is unknown, but EMS was called to the scene.

Several roads surrounding the accident were blocked by the train, according to dispatch.
