Man arrested after cyber tip about child sexually abusive materials

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A Mid-Michigan man has been arrested, charged with having and distributing child sexually abusive materials.

The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested Christopher Plyler, 33, or Flint, after digital evidence was taken from his home.

The investigation was prompted by a cyber tip provided to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Plyler was arraigned on Sept. 3 with 10 counts of possession of child sexually abusive materials, one count of distribution and 11 counts for the use of a computer to facilitate these crimes.
