There’s a certain feeling you get, when you hop on a motorcycle.

“When you get a motorcycle, it’s everything. The engine, the lifestyle, it’s everything,” Emily Morgan said.

Maybe it’s the smell of leather in the air, or the rumble of engines ready to ride.

“To ride on one, it’s so freeing. And so good. And it’s just that sense of a totally different than riding in a car,” Jules Sharman said.

One thing’s for sure, it’s a feeling all bikers have in common.

“I just got my motorcycle endorsement, and I work at Vehicle City. It’s just a feeling you get when you have a motorcycle. The sound, the atmosphere, everything about it,” Morgan said.

That’s what drew a crowd of thousands to downtown Flint this weekend for the 10-year anniversary of Bikes on the Bricks.

A city known for its influence in vehicle history, let the bikes take over for a few days.

“It’s just a good show, good atmosphere. I like the shows. The competition with all the police over there, that’s good to watch,” Scott Nelson said.

TV5 is a proud sponsor of Bikes on the Bricks.
