Judge approves bankruptcy deal for Aeropostale

Posted: Updated:

Struggling teen clothing retailer Aeropostale earned a new lease on life.

A judge approved a bankruptcy deal Monday that allows the company to keep more than 200 stores open.

Two mall operators agreed to keep those stores open as part of a $234 million bid for the company.

The company filed for bankruptcy back in May when it had 800 stores.
