Police arrest bomb threat suspect

GRAND BLANC, MI (WNEM) -

Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the false bomb threat at a Mid-Michigan high school.

Grand Blanc High School received the unsubstantiated threat by phone at around 9:30 on Thursday morning, but police said nothing was found. An all-clear was called at around noon.

The suspect will be charged with two felony counts including false report or threat of terrorism, and false report or threat of a bomb. The first charge carries a 20 year prison sentence and the second charge carries a four year prison sentence.

The suspect was arrested on Sept. 16 and is being held in the Genesee County Jail.
