Driver seriously hurt in 2-vehicle crash

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A driver failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit, according to police.

Saginaw Township Police officers were called to the intersection of Shattuck and Barnard at 10:28 a.m.

Investigators report that a 21-year-old Saginaw woman was driving southbound on Barnard Road and failed to yield to a GMC pickup truck that was going west on Shattuck.

The 21-year-old suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the truck, a 62-year-old Saginaw Township man was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
