Man wanted for murder, other charges turns himself in

GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man police considered armed and dangerous has turned himself in. 

Jesse Tate-Johnson, 37,  was wanted for homicide, armed robbery and other charges in connection with the 2013 murder of Wesley Gilmore on Flint’s south side.

Officials said Tate-Johnson turned himself in on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Authorities thanked the combined support from media, law enforcement and the community for getting the word out about the wanted fugitive.  

No further details were given on Tate-Johnson's arrest.
