BANGOR TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

It looks like craft beer lovers will soon have another place to wet their whistle.

Tri-City Brewing Company tentatively plans to open a new location in Bay County’s Bangor Township in November.

The news comes after the company received approval for a 12-year, 50 percent tax abatement at for their new facility and tap room.

“We are very excited to have received this abatement and are looking forward to open our new location in Bangor Township,” said Kevin Peil, president and founder of Tri City Brewing Co. “Due to our former location, in part, we were one of Bay City’s best kept secrets. Now, the secret is out.”

Peil closed on the 3.5-acre parcel back in Sept. of 2015. The location houses a 10,000 square foot building on Shrestha Driver, near the Bay County Civic Arena.
