DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (AP) -

A Detroit-area man who served 16 years in prison for killing his first wife has been charged with killing his two children and two stepchildren has been jailed without bond.

Gregory V. Green went before a judge Thursday, a day after his daughters, ages 4 and 5, died of carbon monoxide poisoning and his teenage stepchildren were fatally shot at the family's Dearborn Heights home.

Green also is accused of torturing his wife, Faith Green, Wednesday by tying her up, cutting her face and shooting her in the foot before fatally shooting her two teenage children in front of her.

Faith Green, who is the mother of all four children, she recently filed for divorce.

They married in 2010, two years after Gregory Green left prison. He pleaded no contest to killing his first wife in 1991.

During his initial court appearance, Green told the judge he didn't deserve bond
