2 men sentenced in police shootout

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Two men will spend as many as 15 years in prison after a shootout with police.

According to the Flint Police Department, a judge sentenced Ahrico Bradley and Ernest Murray on Monday, Sept. 19. 

The men were arrested back in February. Police were watching a house in the 6700 bock of Orange Lane in Flint after a family feud

During the surveillance, they approached a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. People inside the vehicle immediately opened fire with a handgun on one officer, officials said. 

Officers returned fire, hurting one suspect. 

Bradley was sentenced to 7 to 15 years in prison and Murray was sentenced to 6 to 15 years in prison.
