UBLY, Mich. (WNEM) -

It's one of the most popular reality shows on TV and a Mid-Michigan native just took the top spot on CBS’s Big Brother.

To the victor goes the spoils, and a grand prize of $500,000.

After spending three months in the Big Brother House, Ubly’s Nicole Franzel walked away the winner.

TV5’s Meg McLeod caught up with Nicole right after her nerve-wracking victory over the runner up.

“I was super surprised because honestly, Paul played such a good game that I didn’t think I stood a chance next to him really. But I mean, you never know,” Franzel said.

It was Franzel’s second season competing on the reality TV show. Despite how tense things could get on the show, she said she would do a third season in a heartbeat.

“I would always say yes. Always say yes to Big Brother. I love it,” Franzel said. “It was an emotional…it was crazy this season I’m not going to lie. It was crazy but it was worth it obviously.”

For now, Franzel said she plans to return home and plan her next step with her parents.
