MT. PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -

Central Michigan University students gathered Thursday outside the campus library to protest against police brutality.

We’re told about 50 people were there to speak out against the issue. They also addressed the race for president.

“I would rather have a president who actually cares about my life rather than a president who wants to build a wall,” one student said.

The protest was organized by a group called “The CMU Justus League.”
