DETROIT, MI (WNEM) -

An unsatisfactory decoration job led a Michigan woman to dropkick a custom cake across a Kroger store. Now, Tricia Kortes' infamous tantrum has landed her a hefty $500 fine and up to 300 hours of community service.

The judge who sentenced Kortes Thursday thought she was in need of a major reality check.

“Here you are in the middle of a public place, basically dropkicking a cake because you were upset and dropping the F-bomb. If I was shopping with a child, I'd be horrified,” Judge Kim Small said.

Kortes also faces assault charges for allegedly slapping an ice cream store worker when his store didn't have her favorite flavor.
