FRANKENMUTH, MI (WNEM) -

Frankenmuth Police and Fire were dispatched to an accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Townline and Dehmel Roads, which occurred near 4:39 p.m. on Friday.

Initial investigation shows a 2006 Jeep was westbound, driven by a 20-year-old woman from Berkley, Michigan, with a 20-year-old female passenger.

This vehicle ran the stop sign and collided with a northbound 2010 GMC Terrain driven by a 63-year-old Frankenmuth woman, police said.

The two occupants of the Jeep were extricated by the fire department using Jaws of Life.

All occupants were transported to Saginaw area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Seat belts were worn by everyone and airbags were deployed in both vehicles.  Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this accident, according to police.
