Woman assaulted while walking in park

DAVISON TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Authorities say a 33-year-old Davison Township woman was assaulted while walking in a local park and now they need your help identifying the culprit.

It happened on Wednesday, Sept. 28 between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on the walking trail in Davison Regional Park.

Investigators are asking those who frequent the park to remain vigilant and always be aware of their surroundings. They suggest using the “buddy system” or always carrying a cell phone with you.
