A moped driver was hurt in a Sanilac County crash.

It happened Friday, Oct. 7 about 10:50 a.m. on Marlette Road near Cash Road in Elk Township.

Deputies said a 2008 Yamaha moped, driven by 26-year-old Ruth Ryder from Peck, was heading westbound on Marlette Road when she lost control on the gravel shoulder.

The moped re-entered the roadway and then came to rest on the blacktop, on top of Ryder.
