Police: Man out walking dog stabbed twice in face

BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -

A man out walking his dog was stabbed twice in the face after getting into a fight.

It happened on Oct. 8 at 12:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of S. Madison in Bay City.

Officers report that the victim was walking his dog near Madison and 21st when a man yelling on a cell phone began walking towards him.

The two men exchanged words and the suspect pulled out a knife, according to police.

Officers then report the victim was stabbed twice in the face, and the suspect ran off.

The suspect is described as a man 35-45 years-old, 6’ – 6’2” tall and weighing between 200-250 pounds.

He was bald or had a tightly shave head.
