FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A jury has found a man guilty on all counts, including first-degree premeditated murder in a 2015 crime.

Mark Anthony Jones, Sr. 45, has been convicted of nine felonies in the Sept. 1, 2015 shooting death of Antieno Smith, 46.

Flint Police were called to the 1100 block of Avenue A for reports of a shooting. When they arrived they found Smith had been shot, he later died at the hospital.

“City of Flint police detectives worked very hard on this case to determine the identity and whereabouts of those responsible for this killing and I want to commend them for a job well done,” said Prosecutor David Leyton.

Jones will face life in prison without the possibility of parole when he is sentenced on November 18th.
