TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A tip about a missing person caused investigators to dig in a rural part of Tuscola County on Oct. 28.

The tipster said the body of Robin Jobson, missing since 1998, may have been buried outside of Vassar in Tuscola County.

Jobson was last seen on May 7, 1998, leaving a bar in Flint.

Tuscola County Undersheriff Glen Skrent confirms that while they did dig in the area of Ash Road in Vassar Township, no body was found.

Jobson was dating a man that was from Kentucky and her family thought she might have gone to Kentucky to be with the man.

She was 31-years-old at the time and was 5’4” with red/auburn colored hair and blue eyes.
