SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A 16-year-old woman crashed a Dodge Ram into the back of a school bus Monday morning.

The incident happened about 7:40 a.m. on Galbraith Line Road in Sanilac County's Worth Township.

The Croswell Lexington school bus was stopped on the roadway with its lights activated when the teenager rear-ended the bus, the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office said.

The driver of the pick-up said she was paying attention to the vehicle behind her and did not see the school bus, the sheriff's office said.

The bus has 33 students aboard during the time of the crash, but no one was injured.

The sheriff's office said alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
