SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The presidential candidates are tightening their focus on the battleground states.

Hillary Clinton comes to Detroit on Friday, hoping to secure Michigan's 16 electoral college votes.

The visit follows her campaign stop in North Carolina Thursday where she claimed Donald Trump doesn't know anything about black people.

"He thinks the lives of black people are all crime, poverty and despair. He has no idea," Clinton said.

Clinton's visit to Detroit is at the Eastern Market on Russell Street.

Doors open at 3:15 p.m. and her rally starts two hours later.

Donald Trump

Eric Trump, the son of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, visited Saginaw on Friday.

Trump met with members of the Saginaw Field and Stream Conservation Club to discuss the second amendment.

He's also making campaign stops in Pontiac and Detroit.

Eric Trump's visit follows campaign stops in Michigan Thursday by Senator Ted Cruz and Donald Trump's running mate, Mike Pence.

Speaking in Portage, Pence encouraged folks to get out and vote.

"Make a plan, pack a lunch and bring a friend. Friends don't let friends vote alone," Pence said.

We'll bring you continuing coverage of the campaign through the election.
