On Nov. 11 the national pauses to remember those who served our country. Below are a list of some Mid-Michigan Veterans Day ceremonies.

An observance will be held at the Great Lake National Cemetery, located at 4200 Belford Road in Holly, at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11. Veterans, their families and the public is invited to attend.

The Midland County Veterans Day ceremony begins at 11 a.m. in downtown Midland at the Veterans Memorial in front of the Midland County Courthouse.

A Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum in Bay City at noon on Nov. 11. There will be an open house with donation of $5 for the Edison Restoration Fund.

Annual Veterans Day Service at the Saginaw County Veterans Memorial Plaza at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11. On Nov. 12 a 5k Run/Walk will be held to support the men and women who supported our country.

An annual ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial at McFarlen Park in Flint at 11 a.m.

A Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Nov. 11 at the Swartz Creek Area Veterans Memorial, located at 8059 Fortino Drive.

UM-Flint celebrates with an exhibit “Patriots & Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country”.  The event runs from 5:30 – 7p.m. on Nov. 11 in the Frances Willson Thompson Library, with a program starting at 6 p.m.
