DEARBORN, MI (AP) -

If you're traveling for the holidays, pack your patience!

AAA reports more than four million Americans will travel this Thanksgiving.

Travel site orbitz.com predicts O’Hare International Airport in Chicago will be the busiest airport and Monday.  About 500 workers now say they'll strike Nov. 29, after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Driving remains the most popular mode of travel for Thanksgiving.

According to AAA, drivers will see savings at the pumps with gas prices expected to be the second-cheapest since 2008 when the national average was just $1.85.

On Monday, gas was $2.14 per gallon.

Nearly 750,000 people will take Amtrak trains to and from their destination.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday are the busiest days to travel.

Google checked travel times and found yesterday was the best day to hit the road.

If you want to avoid gridlock coming home, the search engine said to leave on Black Friday at 6 a.m.
