MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) -- Marcus Keene matched a career-high with 36 points and Central Michigan pulled away early in the second half and cruised to a 91-81 victory over William & Mary on Tuesday night.
Keene shot 13 of 23 from the field, made five 3-pointers and had five assists. Keene has scored 30 or more points in six of eight games. Braylon Rayson added season-highs of 23 points and five assists for Central Michigan (6-2). Josh Kozinski chipped in 15 points and Cecil Williams grabbed 13 rebounds and chipped in two points.
Omar Prewitt scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead William & Mary (3-3). Greg Malinowski had 14 points and Jack Whitman added 12.
The game was tied 49-49 early in the second half. The Chippewas used a 29-12 run and led 78-61 with seven minutes to play.
