BURTON, MI (WNEM) -

Police are asking for your help tracking down a suspect who carjacked a man at gunpoint.

It happened on Nov. 19 at 9:50 a.m. in the 2000 block of Webber Avenue in Burton.

Police said that the suspect approached a Mr. Rooter worker who was in the driveway of a customer’s home.

That’s when the suspect pointed a gun at the worker and demanded the keys to the company van.

The suspect was last seen driving the van northbound on Barnes Avenue from East Judd Road. The van was later recovered, abandoned and all the contents had been removed.

Police are looking for the suspect, who was caught on video being dropped off by a blue, Pontiac Grand Prix.

He’s believed to be in his mid-30s to early 40s, and is a smoker.

If you have any information, call D/Sgt. Don Schreiber at (810) 224-1545, or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.
