DETROIT (WNEM) -

A local hockey team will bid farewell to an iconic arena this weekend.

The Saginaw Spirit play the Windsor Spitfires on Sunday at Joe Louis Arena, and it's not every day the Spirit play in an NHL arena.

"It will be the very last OHL game played there," President Craig Goslin of the Saginaw Spirit said.

There will also be some dignitaries  there.

"We have a ceremony at center ice with Chris Osgood dropping the first puck and saluting the players that played in the OHL that also called the Joe Louis Arena home," Goslin said.

To get tickets, you can call the Saginaw Spirit or visit them at their box office on State Street in Saginaw.

The puck drops at 4 p.m.
