GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Another case of Legionnaires' disease is being investigated in Genesee County.

There have been 16 cases reported in the county so far this year.

The Genesee County Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control are investigating the latest case.

The symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, pneumonia and sometimes diarrhea and abdominal pain, the health department said.

The disease comes from the legionella bacteria, which can be found in waterways.
