SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Three people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles Tuesday evening.

It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at N. Van Dyke Road just north of the intersection at Bay City-Forestville Road in Sanilac County's Greenleaf Township.

A 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 39-year-old Marlette woman, was traveling southbound on N. Van Dyke Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the weather conditions and crossed the center line. The passenger side of the truck struck a 2013 Dodge Dart that was traveling northbound, the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office said.

The Dart was driven by a 43-year-old Swartz Creek man.

The two drivers, along with a 84-year-old Marlette woman who was a passenger in the truck, were transported to Cass City Hills and Dales Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

All occupants were wearing their seatbelts, the sheriff's office said.
