It's November and all across the United States, folks are getting prepared for the holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas getting closer and closer. While folks in Michigan are doing the same, there's plenty of folks getting ready for another, unofficial holiday, opening day of the firearm deer season!

There's no secret that the weather can vary quite a bit from year to year during the fall season in Michigan, and after the coldest air of the season moved in last week, get ready for Mother Nature's changeup pitch as we're expecting rain to move in tomorrow morning instead of snow.

TV5 Viewing Area

For us here in Mid-Michigan, rain will begin moving in from the west during the early morning hours of Wednesday, affecting areas near US-127 and areas north of US-10 around 4-5 AM tomorrow morning. Those showers will march east during the morning, becoming more widespread as the march east.

Below, we have an outlook on the rain through lunchtime and into the afternoon. We have also included a few snapshots of the wind forecast through tomorrow morning as well. Expect winds to generally be southerly in the morning, turning to southwesterly as the day goes on, around 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Here are some of the minimum temperatures expected to start our Wednesday. Keep in mind, we'll feel more like the lower 30s with the winds expected to be on the breezy side.

Upper Peninsula

Of course, we know that many folks around the TV5 viewing area head north to deer camp, so we have a look at the Upper Peninsula as well!

Unfortunately, you won't be able to escape the rain tomorrow morning in the U.P. either, as rain will be arriving there by tonight in some places. Showers are expected through the morning hours but winds will also be south southwesterly through the early morning hours. Some fog will likely be around during the morning too.

If you're hunting through the afternoon, there will be a wind switch to the westerly to northwesterly direction. Below, we have another snapshot of what the day will look like tomorrow north of the bridge, starting with the visibility outlook early tomorrow morning.
