Snow showers could produce slick roads, reduce visibility

MID-MICHIGAN (WNEM) -

A few flurries and light snow showers are passing through Mid-Michigan. 

The National Weather Service has issued Special Weather Statements for Lapeer County, Midland County, Shiawassee County, Sanilac County, Tuscola County, Saginaw County, Bay County, Genesee County and Huron County from 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The NWS is warning drivers that snow showers could produce slick road conditions and brief reduction in visibility.

Snow showers today are producing generally one inch or less of accumulation.

Please use caution and account for the variable driving conditions by slowing down and allowing extra time for travel.
