When officers arrived, the vehicle pulled into a driveway and three men took off running.

One of the men, a 19-year-old from Gladwin, was found in a nearby home. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Brandon Robinette, was found hiding in the lake near a dock, police said.

Another man, 22-year-old Koty Harrington, was found hiding inside a shed a short distance from the vehicle.

Both Robinette and Harrington had open warrants for their arrest out of Gladwin County.

They both initially told police they ran to avoid being arrested for the warrants, but deputies later found marijuana and methamphetamine in the vehicle. Police said a mobile meth lab contained the needed components to make meth using a “one pot” method.

Deputies also seized marijuana from the home where the 19-year-old man was found. His name was not released.

All three men were booked in the Gladwin County Jail.

Robinette and Harrington were both charged with multiple count drug warrants to include the charge of operate or maintain a lab involving methamphetamine.

The 19-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana and is scheduled for arraignment on April 25.

This investigation remains open and additional charges may follow.
