FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Two former Flint police officers pleaded guilty to federal charges.

Those officers are accused of conspiring to steal traffic crash reports from the Flint Police Department in exchange for cash.

The reports were not publicly available.

Richard Besson, 53, of Davison, was a Flint officer from 1989 to 2011.

Jason Groulx, 44, of Flint, was an officer from 1989 to this year.

Prosecutors say the two conspired between June of 2011 and June of 2013.

They each face up to five years in prison at sentencing on July 31.
