Before knocking on the door, officers said they heard a man and woman arguing.

When officers started talking to the woman, Cree Glavas, they still heard a man’s voice, but when officers asked Glavas if Cole was in the house, she kept saying no, according to the report.

Glavas told officers no one was home but her, despite being warned that if she continued to lie she could be arrested for harboring a fugitive.

Officers got a search warrant and searched the home.

Cole was found hiding in the attic but refused to come out and hid in the insulation, according to police.

At that point, officers contacted a K-9 unit, and once Cole heard that he turned himself in.

Cole, from Mt. Pleasant, was arrested for obstruction and resisting and obstructing.

Glavas, also from Mt. Pleasant, was arrested for harboring a fugitive.
