Saginaw man killed after driving into tree

Posted: Updated:

A Saginaw man died Tuesday after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office told TV5 James Fredrick Suppes was alone in his Chevy S-10 when he drove off the road near the corner of Midland and 4 Mile Roads and hit a tree.

Suppes would have been 52-years-old next week.

Bay County Sheriff Troy Cunningham said that alcohol does not appear to be a factor, and the crash remains under investigation.

Traffic was rerouted in the area for several hours following the accident.
