Police searching for two sisters accused of torture, murder of woman

DETROIT (WNEM) -

Authorities are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of two sisters accused of kidnapping and torturing a Michigan woman.

Symone Monique Runels and Shavelle Monique Runels are wanted for the kidnapping, torture and murder of 28-year-old Angela Neilson.

Investigators said between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Jan. 29, Neilson was forced into the trunk of a car and driven to the area of 101 Forman Street on the southwest side of Detroit.

The vehicle was then set on fire, killing her.

Police said the suspects are sisters and may be in the Indianapolis, Indiana area where they have relatives.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.
